Discontinue prescription topicals such as Retin-A, Epiduo Forte or Tazorac 3 days before Microdermabrasion. Contact us if you have questions about specific prescription or OTC topicals.
Your skin is prepped and the chemical peel solution is applied to your skin. You may experience mild stinging that subsides after 1 minute. The chemical peel solution should remain on your skin for 4 hours or longer based on Dr. Dele-Michael’s recommendation.
Peeling usually lasts for 3 days. The healing process can be shortened by applying the healing balm Dr. Dele-Michael recommends.
