What should I expect during treatment?
Within a few minutes after your treatment begins, you will experience intense cold. This sensation soon disappears. There are different applicators for the different areas of your body, but with some, you will feel a suction sensation when they are applied
How long is the recovery after treatment?
Following treatment, you may experience swelling, bruising, or redness in the treated area. There may be tenderness, an aching sensation or cramping, along with itching, skin sensitivity, numbness or tingling in the area. The sensation of feeling numb in the area treated has been reported to last several weeks after a procedure.
When should I expect to see results?
Many patients see visible fat reduction starting 3 weeks after the treatment and the improvement continues for up to 6 months after the treatment.
What areas of the body can be treated with CoolSculpting?
The FDA has cleared the CoolSculpting treatment for the visible fat bulges under the chin area, flank, and abdomen, underneath the butt area, along the bra area, the upper arm, and the inner and outer thighs.
