How it works
IPL uses broadband light to restore health and vitality to sun damaged skin. Unlike lasers, an IPL device sends out more than one wavelength of light- hence the term broadband light- to target age spots, fine wrinkles, broken capillaries, leathery skin texture changes in a quick treatment session. Talk about efficiency! But before you book an appointment, you should know that this treatment is not recommended for persons with darker skin tones.

IPL treatments are comfortable and considered “lunch hour” procedures. They take about 45 minutes, and you will be able to return to work and your normal daily activities right away.
Immediately after the IPL treatment, your skin will look slightly red, as if you had a mild sunburn. Over the next 3 days, dark spots and freckles will darken and shed, revealing more luminous skin.
Many patients see a visible improvement after their very first treatment. For moderate to severe sun damage, you will probably require about four sessions spaced 8 weeks apart.
